filler.
Dermal fillers are injections used to provide structure/contouring to the face as well as restore volume to areas of the face or fill/smooth wrinkles. During the aging process, the face loses fat and collagen, resulting in a loss of volume and loose/saggy skin. Common name brands for dermal fillers are Versa®, Restylane®, Belotero®, Juvéderm®, Radiesse® and many more. Dermal fillers are primarily used to plump lips, enhance contours, soften facial wrinkles and creases, reconstruct deformities, and correct asymmetry. Be You Aesthetic in Riverdale, Utah is equipped to handle all of your dermal filler needs.
All about filler.
Dermal fillers, fillers, or injectables are used mainly to restore volume and smooth lines and creases. There are a wide variety of dermal fillers with varying ingredients, longevity, and uses. At Be You Aesthetic, we ensure you receive the right dermal filler for your treatment and your desired outcome. We will also try to maximize your comfort during treatments such as lip augmentations by adding an injectible anesthetic called lidocaine in the filler solution in addition to the topical anesthetic. Dermal fillers typically last for 6-12 months depending on how fast your body metabolizes.
Treatment options.
Each treatment begins with a complimentary consultation to develop a customized plan for you. Although filler can be used to volumize areas of the face or smooth lines and wrinkles, fillers are a quick and minimally invasive solution to asymmetry in the face.
Lip Filler or Lip Augmentation- Plump, volumize, and define your lips.
Mini Lip - Half of a syringe of lip filler
Fine lines- Smoker’s lines or fine lines around the mouth
Smile lines- Nasolabial folds, smile lines, marionette lines, or laugh lines deepen with age.
Cheek Contouring- Lifts cheekbones and fills cheeks resulting in a more youthful appearance
Jawline contouring- Adds definition and contour, a great option for men or women.
Filler Dissolve- If you’re not happy with the filler you got from another place, we can dissolve Hyaluronic Acid fillers to reverse the filler effects.
before treatment
I will take your medical history to ensure you’re a good candidate for the Dermal Filler treatment. Next, during your complimentary consultation, you will receive a comprehensive facial examination to determine which areas can be treated. During your consultation we will discuss your beauty goals and budget, then create a custom skincare plan. We will discuss the potential benefits and complications involved in the procedure and I will make sure all questions are answered prior to starting the treatment.
during treatment
I will assess your facial anatomy to determine the exact treatment area. If you are getting lip augmentation, I will apply a topical anesthetic (numbing cream) or provide a nerve block. Once I have determined the best points of injection, I will use a very small needle to deliver a precise dosage of dermal filler for your desired results. For dermal fillers outside of the lip area, numbing medication is not usually provided due to the broad area of treatment. However, my goal is to ensure your comfort, so other options are available. All treatments are done using an aseptic technique.
post-treatment
I will give you specific written instructions to ensure you are aware of proper aftercare treatment. The best part about filler is that you will see your results immediately, and be able to resume your daily activities. Results typically last anywhere from 6-12 months depending on your metabolism. The most common complication involved in the procedure is bruising. We will discuss all of the aftercare and follow-up instructions post-procedure. If you ever have any questions at all you can always contact me on my cellphone!
